School Outreach Counseling Program

PLEASE NOTE, THE SOC PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD DUE TO THE GROWING CONCERNS OVER COVID-19.

The School Outreach Counseling Program is a unique, counseling service provided by Kids In The Middle. We offer Group Counseling for students in their schools. We also offer parent meetings and consult with school staff as needed. We work with children using discussion, art activities, games, books, and journals. Our therapists help children learn how to resolve conflicts in positive ways, manage their anger, build relationships with peers, and learn effective social skills.

Counseling sessions are held once a week during the school day for 10-12 weeks each semester. Sessions currently take place in select public and private schools in the greater St. Louis region. Group and Individual Counseling sessions are held in a safe and confidential setting separate from the classroom.
