If your parents are separated or divorced, you are probably feeling pretty bad about it. Check out the links below and see if any of these things are helpful!

Book List for Kids

At Kids In the Middle®, we know that there are special books out there that make it easier for our kids to understand and deal with divorce and separation. Our Kids' Book List lets kids find titles that they can find in their local libraries, schools and bookstores so they can read about managing their feelings and feeling good about themselves.

Children's Bill of Rights for Divorce

Our Children's Bill of Rights is a special list of rights children of divorce have. These are rights no one should take away from them, even if the divorce or separation is particularly stressful or difficult. The Bill of Rights is good for parents and grandparents, too!

What's My Responsibility?

It is often difficult for kids facing divorce to understand what is going on and what their responsibilities are around the house and with their families. Sometimes, kids feel like they have to take on adult responsibilities and skip out on their childhood. That's not true, and our "What's My Responsibility?" game helps them understand why.
