DONATE TO Kids In The Middle®

Client fees do not come close to covering the cost of counseling services offered by Kids In The Middle®. Your donations enable us to provide a sliding scale fee to make it easier for families to access our services. Whether it is a small donation or a Major Gift of $5,000 or more, or a donation of stocks, we are thankful for your support. It's easy to make a tax-deductible contribution to Kids In The Middle®. We accept credit card donations online and by telephone.

If you prefer to mail in your tax-deductible contribution, please direct your check made out to Kids In The Middle to: 121 West Monroe Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri 63122. Call Jackie Smith, Development Director, at (314) 909-9922, ext. 119, or Meredith Hanis, Associate Development Director at ext. 116 for more information.

Planned Giving

Planned Giving – Create a Legacy of Compassion
Kids In The Middle has created a planned Giving Program that offers ways individuals can protect their assets through tax-deductible donations while supporting KITM programs. Planned Giving is a thoughtful and generous way to meet your personal financial objectives and also provides Kids In The Middle the ability to help children and families now and in the future.

Ways of Giving

Cash Gifts

Cash gifts provide an immediate way to assist Kids In The Middle. An outright gift qualifies for a full charitable deduction for most donors who itemize their federal income tax returns.

Bequests

A gift can be made through your Last Will and Testament as an outright, residuary, contingency, or restricted bequest. Bequests to Kids In The Middle are fully deductible as charitable gifts for federal estate-tax purposes.

Life Insurance

Kids In the Middle can be named as the beneficiary of a new or existing life insurance policy. If Kids In The Middle is also named as the owner of the policy, all of the donor’s premium payments are charitable deductions.

Charitable Trusts

Kids In The Middle can be named as the ultimate beneficiary of a charitable remainder trust or the income beneficiary of a charitable lead trust. Both are highly effective estate planning tools that can benefit donors now or later.

Appreciated Property

This includes gifts of stocks, bonds, real estate, or other appreciated assets that cause capital gains to be realized when the asset is sold. By giving the asset to charity instead of selling it, capital gains tax is avoided.

Tributes and Memorials

Donors can designate their contributions to be made as a tribute or a memorial. Tributes are a great way to honor a friend, family member or co-worker. Birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations are perfect opportunities for a tribute. Memorial contributions are a thoughtful way to remember a loved one and show their family members how much you care. Recipients of tributes or memorials will be informed of your donation by mail without being told the dollar amount.

Bequests

Have you considered Kids In The Middle in your estate planning? If not, and the idea appeals to you, please inform your attorney or estate planner of your wishes and leave a legacy to help children receive the counseling they need.

In-Kind Donations

While monetary donations are always appreciated, we also accept in-kind donations.
